Paypal Bans Nigerian Naira ? “Bans” Whogohost a Nigerian Domain Name Company ! www.dotifi.com

Spread the love

We Tried to make a Payment using Paypal Arguably The Largest Payment Provider in the World  and for some weeks now it has not worked !

They gave an Explanation Later After Many Domains had gone into Suspension and would incur a Futher 100percent charge to renew .

They had been modifying invoices to enable Payments by Paypal before

  1. Is this a ploy to Make Customers Pay More  from domains that have expired cos of Delays ?
  2. Why Keep Paypal as A Payment Gateway When The Company has Banned You
  3. Why were they banned ?

Previously for some weeks now they had been amending invoices so customers abroad can make payments with Paypal with VERY HIGH CHARGES !

We  got a reply from them and this is their Silly Explanation

Thank you for writing back.

We would like to use this medium to inform you of the latest update from PayPal as regards Payments and Currencies

(Un)Fortunately, the new PayPal module does not support conversion to USD. This means that any currency that is not supported by PayPal will not be used for Payment on any platform. In other words, if the currency is not in USD (if it is in NGN, KES, or GHS which we currently support), you cannot make payment with it, regardless of your country.

You can find the supported currencies here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/reports/reference/paypal-supported-currencies/

This means paying with Paypal on Whogohost would require your client account and orders to be in a currency supported by Paypal such as USD.

While we may not be able to have your currency (NGN, KHS & GHS) changed on your client account, we advise a second client account to be created, with the USD currency, if suitable.

We also recommend trying other payment methods such as Flutterwave, Paystack, and Virtual Wallet.

We appreciate you and value your business.

Our team is committed to assisting you with any questions or requests on your service(s). Your feedback and comments are crucial in evaluating our customer success goals and taking corrective actions where necessary.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. As we continue to offer the highest level of service, we look forward to your continued patronage.

If I can assist you further, please let me know. I am always happy to help.

Regards

Glory A

Smart Investment: Premium domains often appreciate in value, just like a well-chosen piece of property. Own a piece of the digital world that could pay dividends. What Sets Premium Domains Apart?   Unlike ordinary domain names, premium domains are carefully crafted to be exceptional. They are shorter, more memorable, and often include valuable keywords. Plus, they often come with a built-in advantage: established online presence and search engine visibility. How Much Does a Premium Domain Cost?   The price tag for a premium domain depends on its desirability. While they cost more than standard domains, the investment can be game-changing. Additionally, you may incur transfer fees if you decide to sell or move the domain to a different registrar. Can I Negotiate the Price of a Premium Domain? In some cases, it may be possible to negotiate the price of a premium domain. However, the success of negotiations depends on factors such as the domain's demand, the seller's willingness to negotiate, and the overall market conditions. At BrandBucket, we offer transparent, upfront pricing, but if you see a name that you like and wish to discuss price, please reach out to our sales team. How Do I Transfer a Premium Domain?   Transferring a premium domain involves a few steps, including unlocking the domain, obtaining an authorization code from the current registrar, and initiating the transfer with the new registrar.
