Isotopes AI, a new startup focused on artificial intelligence for business analytics, has launched with $20 million in seed funding. The company introduced its AI agent, Aidnn, designed to help business managers interact with their data using natural language.
Aidnn can generate reports and planning documents by pulling information from diverse sources, including ERP, CRM, finance applications, and cloud storage.
Aidnn designed for enterprise data challenges
Unlike simple chatbots, Aidnn is built to perform multi-step data processing. It can locate and clean data, normalize datasets, and maintain context memory for complex analysis. The system provides transparency by showing its reasoning, assumptions, and anomalies, while also offering recommendations for next steps.
For example, Aidnn can draft a monthly recurring revenue (MRR) trend report by extracting metadata, cleaning and joining datasets, prorating revenue, and aggregating results. This capability demonstrates the agent’s ability to automate processes that typically require extensive manual work from analysts.
Founders bring deep data and AI experience
The company was co-founded by Arun Murthy, Prasanth Jayachandran, and Gopal Vijayaraghavan, all with backgrounds at Hortonworks. Murthy previously co-founded Hortonworks after his work on Hadoop at Yahoo and later served as chief technology officer at Scale AI. He described his time at Scale as “getting a PhD” in AI development.
Hortonworks grew rapidly before merging with Cloudera, where Murthy oversaw a team of 200 people. His experience at both Cloudera and Scale highlighted persistent challenges around data access, inspiring the creation of Isotopes AI.
The seed funding round was led by Vab Goel of NTTVC, signaling investor confidence in the startup’s ability to compete in enterprise analytics.
Competing in a crowded analytics market
Isotopes AI emphasizes that Aidnn ensures enterprise data privacy, as information does not need to be shared with external AI providers. This focus on secure deployment is meant to address a key concern for corporate customers.
Still, Aidnn faces competition from established players like Salesforce Tableau and emerging startups such as WisdomAI, which also offer AI-powered analytics tools. Isotopes aims to differentiate itself with its founders’ deep industry experience and Aidnn’s advanced data access and context memory capabilities.

How Do I Transfer a Premium Domain?
Transferring a premium domain involves a few steps, including unlocking the domain, obtaining an authorization code from the current registrar, and initiating the transfer with the new registrar. Many domain name marketplaces, including BrandBucket, offer assistance with the transfer process.
